That was at least the case for Erica and Ryan, who traveled to New Orleans for their intimate micro wedding with less than 20 guests. The couple wanted to have a private experience for the families before their large wedding that would happen about a month later in Chicago with 200 to 300 of their closest family and friends – and here at Lavishly Chic Designs Events & Weddings, gave them just that!

While a wedding in the rain is not ideal for everyone, in NOLA it gives the city an extra sparkle. Erica and Ryan weren’t bothered by the rain one bit, they knew that the most important part of their day was just being with each other, and it showed in their pictures from Erin & Geoffrey Photography.

Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate, with white rose arrangements found throughout the aisle, the bride’s bouquet, and as part of their ceremony backdrop. Erica and Ryan’s closest friends and family watched on as the two exchanged their sweet vows and their lifelong promise to love each other.
Immediately following the ceremony, guests gathered for a champagne toast in the courtyard of Chateau LeMoyne French Quarters. They then took part in the quintessential tradition of dancing a Second Line with the Kinfolk Brass Band all the way to their intimate dinner reception at Tableau French Quarter. The room was decorated in classic ivory florals and greenery with matching plate settings and gold chargers with a romantic cake table to match. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
